Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Massillon plant is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support routine and corrective maintenance across manufacturing lines. The role includes preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and welding to ensure continuous production of frozen foods under strict quality control.

This non-union, on-site position requires ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and overtime during peak seasons; pay starts at $34.40 per hour with annual increases and incentive bonus

Qualifications

• Two-year certificate from college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of AC/DC variable frequency drives, motor control, hydraulics, pneumatics, pipe fitting.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain plant manufacturing and packaging machinery to reduce downtime and boost production efficiency.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and repairs.
• Record daily maintenance activities, PMs, and work orders.
• Repair, rebuild or overhaul equipment; welding as needed.
• Install or repair electrical systems, wiring, motors, panels and related components.
• Support safety processes and enforce company policies and safety regulations.
