Job summary

Lourdes Noreen McKeen Residence in West Palm Beach, FL is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a full-time role. The position includes evenings as needed and every other weekend, with a pay range of $20 to $22 per hour based on skills and experience.

The role requires at least a High School diploma, 3 years in building maintenance including plumbing and electrical, and ability to work in a faith-based nonprofit environment providing geriatric care.

Qualifications

• High School or vocational school graduate or equivalent.
• Three years experience in building maintenance including plumbing and electrical.
• Courses in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywall or building trades preferred.
• Independent contracting experience in general repairs considered.
• Must speak and write English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance schedules are followed at all times.
• Maintain laundry, kitchen, boiler rooms, and individual AC units.
• Perform unscheduled maintenance as requested.
• May perform duties of a Security Guard on a temporary basis.
• Be available for on-call maintenance 24 hours a day.
