Job summary

Sentry Management, Inc. is seeking a diligent Maintenance Technician to join our team supporting community associations in New York. You will perform routine inspections, handle repairs in common areas, and coordinate with vendors to keep buildings safe and presentable.

Applicants must have maintenance experience, be organized and capable of working independently, and lift up to 50 lbs. We offer training, a comprehensive benefits package, and a work-life balanced environment.

Qualifications

• Have previous maintenance experience.
• Be professional, organized and self-motivated.
• Be able to stand, bend, and walk up to 8 hours per day.
• Be able to safely bend and lift up to 50lbs.
• Be able to work in variable weather conditions.
• Possess general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Routine Maintenance: Performing regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of building systems, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Repairs: Addressing repair requests from residents and promptly resolving issues related to common areas.
• Grounds keeping: Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of common areas, including outdoor amenities such as pool.
• Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Coordinating with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for repairs.
• Other duties as assigned
