Job summary

Stellar Snacks in Louisville, KY is seeking a Maintenance Tech to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment, ovens, packaging machines, and related systems. You will document all work in MVP, support safety and GMP standards, and assist with equipment installations as needed.

The role requires hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, strong mechanical/electrical skills, and the ability to read technical documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance in manufacturing, ideally food processing.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams.
• Working knowledge of LOTO safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, ovens, packaging machines, mixers and conveyors according to PM schedules.
• Diagnose root causes and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Document all maintenance work and parts used in MVP.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to GMP and food safety standards.
