Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Space Sector in Commerce, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Level 3 to join our onsite team. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance on industrial equipment, troubleshoot, repair CNCs, and read blueprints and manuals.

Required: High School diploma or equivalent with 4 years in manufacturing maintenance or millwright; familiarity with PLC/HMI, vacuum, electrical, hydraulic and cooling systems; ability to lift 50 lbs and work overtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 4 years in manufacturing as a maintenance technician or millwright.
• No clearance required to start.
• General knowledge of CNC machinery maintenance and repairs.
• Understanding of vacuum, electrical, hydraulic, cooling and pressure systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs/HMI.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance on CNCs and related equipment.
• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Provide maintenance and repairs; document work in CMMS.
• Operate forklift, scissor lift, and JLG equipment as needed.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards including Lockout/Tagout.
