Job summary

Associa in Miami is seeking a Maintenance Technician to clean, maintain, and repair building fixtures, including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains. You will perform carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs to guarantee buildings are properly and safely maintained, with duties ranging from preventive maintenance to HVAC servicing and other assigned tasks.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
3–5 years of related experience.
Knowledge of general maintenance requirements (documentation, safety, reporting, regulations).
Knowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements.
OSHA safety requirements knowledge.
Knowledge of state/local safety requirements.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Interpretation and completion of instructions; team player.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently.
Perform carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs.
Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains.
Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment and related systems.
Other duties as assigned.
