Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service small to medium-sized buildings and industrial equipment within the Memphis area. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, and support for building systems under supervision.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED with related experience and be capable of using Microsoft Office tools. The position requires physical effort, good communication, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Follow established procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Deliver output by following defined procedures under close supervision.
