Job summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking a dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician Assistant to troubleshoot, install, and maintain automated industrial equipment and perform building repairs. You will contribute to our proactive maintenance program to keep systems safe and efficient.

The role requires strong diagnostic abilities, experience with blueprints and schematics, and a commitment to safety training. This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

  • Strong troubleshooting skills related to automated industrial equipment.
  • Knowledge in installation and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Experience in building maintenance and repair is preferred.
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve issues with automated industrial equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Install new equipment and perform regular maintenance and repairs to keep machinery in optimal working condition.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on building structures and systems.
  • Implement and support a strong preventative maintenance program to prolong the life of equipment.
  • Assist in addressing concerns related to OSHA regulations, reduction of utilities, and waste management.
  • Complete and manage work order assignments in a timely manner.
  • Use industrial maintenance knowledge to repair, modify, or fabricate parts for equipment as needed.
  • Analyze equipment to determine necessary repairs and adjustments.
  • Read and analyze blueprints, drawings, and schematics of automated industrial equipment.
  • Install utility lines for steam, water, condensate, air, gas, etc., including soldering, pipe threading, and electrical conduit work.
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Complete all required safety training to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Utilize a maintenance site to accurately record data and completed work activities.
  • Adhere to proper PPE guidelines in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Record all required work documentation, including work orders, time sheets, and request forms, in a timely manner.
  • Perform various other job duties as may be assigned.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining automated industrial equipment as well as performing building maintenance and repairs. You will play a critical role in ensuring our equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to our strong preventative maintenance program.

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge in the installation and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Experience in building maintenance and repair.
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs.
  • Capable of analyzing equipment for necessary repairs.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
  • Skills in installing utility lines and performing related tasks, such as soldering and threading pipes.
  • Commitment to completing all required safety training.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and document work done.
  • Adherence to safety-related company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
