Qualifications

• 4+ years in maintenance or machine repair.
• Able to perform essential physical duties.
• Foundational hydraulics, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic knowledge.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on industrial equipment.
• Experience with injection molding machinery.
• Capable of PLC troubleshooting under guidance.
• Complete MCC enrollment test and submit passing grades.
• Commitment to MCC classes for apprenticeship.
• Willing to maintain logs of work and training.
• Interest in advancing to journeyman through structured program.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment and machinery according to safety standards.
• Maintain mechanical systems for reliable plant operation.
• Diagnose and repair machines to minimize downtime.
• Log 2,000 hours of on-the-job learning annually.
• Complete MCC coursework and submit grades with HR.
• Maintain written log of work, training, and skills.
• Learn and follow safety procedures for presses, welders, robots, and other machinery.
• Assist with troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Support PLC troubleshooting under guidance to improve performance.
• Work with injection molding equipment and perform mold changes as needed.
• Collaborate with technicians to understand process verification in plastic injection.
• Perform essential functions safely with tools/equipment.
• Adhere to plant safety policies including lockout/tagout.
• Participate in day-shift training for up to a month.
• Work in a crew rotation to support continuous operations.
