Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Beaumont, TX, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service a healthcare client, performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on building systems.

The role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with occasional weekend rotations every couple of months. A valid driver’s license and 2–3 years of maintenance experience are required.

• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and applying standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Driver license required.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment for a healthcare client. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function and focuses on providing preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and responding to emergency service calls across multiple facilities.

The position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with an occasional weekend rotation approximately every two months. A valid driver\'s license. Candidates with general maintenance experience. Strong troubleshooting skills, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining safe and efficient facility operations are essential for success in this position.

What You\'ll Do:

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.


• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.


• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.


• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.


• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.


• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.


• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.

What You\'ll Need:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.


• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.


• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.


• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.


• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
