Job summary

QPS Employment Group in Kenosha, WI is seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech for a manufacturing facility. This direct hire role is on third shift (11:00pm–7:00am) with annual wages between $74,880 and $79,040.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment to keep safety and efficiency at peak levels. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues,

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience with electrical systems including AC/DC motors and controls.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Welding, machining, and fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to breakdowns.
• Lift up to 50 pounds; overtime willingness.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions and determine repairs to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment, motors, sensors, and electrical components.
• Install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Perform adjustments, setups, and changeovers as needed.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, lathes, and mills.
• Assist with installation and startup of new equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.
• Collaborate with production to improve efficiency; follow safety procedures including LOTO.
