Job summary

Multimatic is seeking a Maintenance Tech for the 3rd shift in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role focuses on maintaining equipment and facilities, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting changeovers and setup activities.

Responsibilities include machine diagnostics, welding and fabrication as needed, and completing maintenance documentation such as TPM logs and downtime records.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical & welding.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance-related documents and procedures.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM checks and procedures on manufacturing equipment as scheduled.
• Assist with machine install, setup, and changeovers.
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed and conduct repairs.
• Complete maintenance documentation including TPM logs, control plans and downtime logs.
• Coordinate with Supervisors/Managers for resources and scheduling.
