Assist with set up and change over’s as it relates to mig welding.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** **Adopt a specific group of cells and focus on all aspects of welding robustness for the assigned area.*** **Teach robots points for optimum mig weld robustness.*** **Adjust weld fixtures to control end product dimensions and as well as mig weld gap/robustness.*** **Develop preventative maintenance procedures related to weld fixtures and weld guns.*** **Improve process robustness, uptime and cycle time by researching and improving weld consumables.*** **Maintain shim adjustment logs for assigned area.*** **Document and improve welding parameters.*** **Provides input in evaluation of equipment and processes.*** **Understand incoming part quality and its effect on mig weld/dimensional robustness.*** **Performs other functions as required.****QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
