Responsibilities

  • Set up, service, resolve issues with, and restore diverse machinery and related hardware.
  • Identify mechanical malfunctions to perform fixes, part swaps, alignments, and fine-tuning.
  • Create custom components like bushings, pins, and shafts to keep operations running.
  • Perform basic welding and cutting tasks.
  • Carry out routine preventative maintenance and resolve complex technical problems to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Install and maintain electrical systems including breakers, circuits, lighting, motors and starters.
  • Analyze and fix issues in electrical frameworks, including solid-state controls.
  • Identify and fix faults in computer-managed production machinery.
  • Close maintenance requests and log all service history in the tracking system.
  • Coordinate with external partners and vendors for technical support and parts.
  • Handle light facility repairs as needed.
  • Provide guidance to apprentices and junior staff to promote growth.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Contribute to 6S standards and safety protocols.
  • Perform all typical duties for Maintenance Tech I and support management as needed.
