Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Garden Grove, CA, is seeking a skilled technician for full-time, 1st shift. You will troubleshoot and repair production equipment, install and maintain mechanical and electrical systems, and perform scheduled preventative maintenance across the plant.

The role requires strict adherence to safety policies, thorough documentation, and collaboration with the department supervisor to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment.
• Ability to install, inspect and maintain mechanical and electrical systems.
• Capable of completing required documentation and following safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, support & repair of all production equipment; determine materials and parts to be used for repair, installation and stock.
• Install, inspect, repair and maintain mechanical, electrical and other related systems in all production and supporting departments.
• Coordinate and participate in scheduled/preventive maintenance on all production equipment.
• Inspect, operate and maintain steam, heating, cooling and water treatment systems in entire plant.
• Complete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelines.
• Design and implement installation of new equipment and tools; comply with safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned
