Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Garden Grove, CA is seeking a maintenance technician to support and repair production equipment, install and inspect mechanical and electrical systems, and participate in preventive maintenance across all production areas.

The role requires adherence to company safety rules, thorough documentation, and the ability to design and implement equipment installations while handling various duties as assigned. ITAR compliance is part of the requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to troubleshoot, support & repair production equipment.
• Ability to install, inspect, repair and maintain mechanical and electrical systems in production and supporting departments.

• Troubleshoot, support & repair of all production equipment; determine material, parts, and equipment to be used for repair, installation and stock.
• Install, inspect, repair and maintain the mechanical, electrical and other related systems in all production and supporting departments.
• Coordinate and participate in scheduled/preventive maintenance on all production equipment.
• Inspect, operate and maintain steam, heating, cooling and water treatment systems in entire plant.
• Complete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelines.
• Design and implement installation of new equipment and tools; must comply with all company safety rules and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation Range $20.00 to $30 per hour (DOE).

Work Environment

The majority of work is performed in a manufacturing setting. Work is performed in shop conditions and can be in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
