Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and service production equipment in our Garden Grove facility. The role covers mechanical and electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and compliance with safety rules.

ITAR requirements may apply to this position. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of mechanical and 1 year of electrical experience, with a focus on quality and reliability in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of mechanical experience.
• 1 year of electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, support & repair of all production equipment.
• Install, inspect, repair and maintain mechanical, electrical and related systems.
• Coordinate scheduled/preventive maintenance on all production equipment.
• Inspect and operate steam, heating, cooling and water treatment systems in the plant.

• Troubleshoot, support & repair of all production equipment Determine material, parts, and equipment to be used for repair, installation and stock.
• Install, inspect, repair and maintain the mechanical, electrical and other related systems in all production and supporting departments
• Coordinate and participate in scheduled/preventive maintenance on all production equipment
• Inspect, operate and maintain steam, heating, cooling and water treatment systems in entire plant
• Complete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelines
• Design and implement installation of new equipment and tools Must comply with all company safety rules and policies
• Other duties as assigned
• Compensation Range $18.00 to $ 24.68 per hour (DOE)
