Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Tech in Wooster, Ohio to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic repair, and equipment installation. Strong hands-on electrical/mechanical aptitude and safety focus are essential.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, apprenticeship or equivalent training, and flexibility to work various shifts, overtime, and holidays. CNC familiarity with Okuma, Fanuc, or Siemens is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic skills: critical thinking, reading comprehension, electrical print reading, blue print reading, communication
• Good interpersonal skills
• Complex problem solving: problem identification, information gathering, information organizing, idea generation, idea evaluation
• Technical skills: programming, troubleshooting, operation monitoring, testing
• Working knowledge of techniques, materials, tools and equipment used in machinery maintenance
• Formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience
• Strong computer skills necessary
• Must be shift flexible
• Ability to work well with others
• Good attendance
• Negative pre-employment drug test
