Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Maintenance Technician II for a local manufacturing company. This overnight position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient operations.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues with production equipment and facility systems.
Perform preventive maintenance, identify potential equipment failures, and recommend improvements.
Repair and rebuild pumps, motors, gearboxes, glue pots, forklifts, printing presses, die-cutting machines, and other equipment components.
Complete fabrication work and recommend outside contractor assistance when needed.
Assist with equipment installations and machinery modifications according to manufacturer specifications and applicable National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
Perform facility maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, work area construction, and roof maintenance.
Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), equipment setup reduction projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Communicate equipment concerns, repair progress, and unresolved issues to the incoming shift.
Follow standard operating procedures and safety requirements.
Keep work areas clean and organized, and return tools to their proper storage locations.
Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Minimum of three years of production equipment maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and ability to operate hand and power tools.
Working knowledge of electrical systems, carpentry, plumbing, welding, and machining.
Ability to read blueprints and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and basic math skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
Ability to work in confined spaces while following required safety procedures.
Reliable attendance and availability to work third shift and overtime as needed.
