Job summary

Roxbury Treatment Center in Shippensburg, PA, part of Universal Health Services, Inc., is seeking a full-time Maintenance Tech to support daily facility operations in our behavioral health campus.

This Monday–Friday role includes on-call overnight and weekend rotation. You will assist the Director of Plant Operations with upkeep, repairs, and renovations across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life-safety systems to keep our 112-bed facility safe and compliant.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• At least 3 years maintaining and repairing basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment, preferably in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily facility operations under the Director, Plant Operations/Support Services.
• Repair and renovate buildings as needed, including mechanical and electrical systems.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, sprinkler, electrical equipment, and safety systems.
• Perform weekly/monthly inspections and tours.
• Test generators and life-safety devices as required.

Roxbury Hospital is currently recruiting a full-time Maintenance Tech to work in our Shippensburg behavioral healthcare facility.

This is a Monday - Friday position with on-call overnight and weekend rotation.

The Maintenance Tech is responsible for assisting the Director, Plant Operations/Support Services with the daily operations of facility management. The Maintenance Tech assists in the repair and/or renovation of buildings to include the following in addition to providing maintenance support for all areas of the facility.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma, preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of maintaining and repairing basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment, preferrably in a hospital environment.

Licensure/Certification:

Valid Driver's License required
