Job summary

The Car Park is seeking a reliable janitorial and maintenance team member to support daily operations at our downtown Scranton locations. You will assist customers with parking transactions, maintain clean facilities, and perform routine maintenance such as painting and pressure washing.

This role requires outdoor work year-round and a flexible, team-focused attitude to ensure exceptional customer experiences across our parking decks and facilities.

Qualifications

• 1 year in janitorial & maintenance work
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Comfort working indoors and outdoors year-round

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with transactions upon entry to facilities
• Perform custodial tasks including sweeping, litter pickup, painting and pressure washing
• Work indoors and outdoors year-round in a downtown environment

Who We Need

You will be assisting customers in the financial transaction upon entering parking facilities in addition to working with a crew responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of multiple parking decks in a downtown business environment. You will be performing routine custodian duties such as:

• Sweeping, litter pickup and disposal
• Painting and pressure washing
• The position requires work to be performed both indoors and outdoors year-round

• You are the most sought-after customer service expert in town!
• Works as a team player, sharing knowledge and skills AND excel while working independently
• Prior mechanical or painting experience is a preferred
• Good knowledge of the area/downtown locations a plus
• Calculate parking amount due from customer then collect validations and payment from customers
• Operate cash register and maintain strict cash controls

Minimum Required Qualifications
