Job summary

Frey Consulting Group is seeking a dependable Maintenance Tech to support our apartment community on-site. You will handle apartment turns, preventive maintenance, and routine repairs, ensuring units meet quality and safety standards before move-in.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of maintenance experience, basic plumbing/electrical knowledge, and a willingness to learn. The role includes an on-call rotation and benefits such as health/dental/vision insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of apartment, make-ready, or general maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs.
• HVAC, CPO, EPA certifications preferred, but not required.
• CMMS or maintenance work-order system experience is a plus.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turns, including painting, touch-ups, minor repairs, and unit preparation
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs
• Inspect vacant units and identify needed repairs or replacements
• Complete work orders and assist with preventive maintenance
• Ensure apartments meet quality and safety standards before move-in
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist the maintenance and property management teams as needed
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies

About the Position
