Job summary

Ripley Heatwole Company is seeking a hardworking Maintenance Technician for a large, fast-paced apartment community in the Churchland area of Portsmouth, VA. This full-time role focuses on keeping the property in excellent repair and appearance, performing building maintenance and general repair work.

Ideal candidates will have knowledge of plumbing, drywall, carpentry, electrical repairs, and appliances. HVAC certified or CFC preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and general repair work.
• Knowledge of HVAC and appliance repairs.
• HVAC certified or CFC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance and general repair tasks to keep the property safe and presentable.
• Carry out HVAC and appliance repairs as needed.
• Assist in routine upkeep and respond to maintenance requests.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.

Salary Range: $17.00 To $19.00 Hourly

Looking for a great place to work? We are a local property management company seeking a hardworking and dependable Maintenance Technician. This position works at a large fast paced apartment complex in the Churchland area of Portsmouth . The Maintenance Technician assists in the physical operation and proper appearance of the community. Primary responsibilities include building maintenance and general repair work, as well as HVAC and appliance repairs. Ideal candidates will have general knowledge of plumbing, drywall, carpentry, electrical repairs, and appliances. HVAC certified or CFC preferred. Position is included with on-call rotation.
