Florida’s CareProvider in Palm City, FL seeks a Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep of facility equipment and systems. This role emphasizes routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and prompt problem-solving to maintain safe, efficient operations.

You will read manuals and schematics, diagnose mechanical issues, and assist in installing new equipment while coordinating with contractors to ensure timely project completion. A strong mechanical mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Experience with facilities maintenance and repair.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Basic welding skills preferred.

• Leadership skills to supervise contractors and vendors during maintenance projects.

Minimum high school diploma, equivalent, or at least one (1) year physical plant and equipment experience.
