Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Permanent Full Time Maintenance Tech in Orlando, FL. This role focuses on maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance of warehouse equipment in a safe, state‑of‑the‑art environment.

Ideal candidates have a strong maintenance background, basic computer skills, and ability to coordinate with contractors. On‑the‑job training is provided; full benefits begin after initial period, with a 401(k) match and stock discounts available.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Maintenance repair and preventive maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication and planning skills needed.
• Basic computer and parts inventory system skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine lubrications, repairs and troubleshooting on warehouse equipment.
• Assist and monitor work by outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost-effective operations.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ensure safety standards align with company, local and federal guidelines.
• Operate equipment as required and obtain certification where needed.

Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Maintenance Tech in Orlando, Florida

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: starting at $19.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $0.25 per hour
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 4:00 PM - 1:30 AM

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong background in maintenance repair and preventative maintenance programs
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills
• Basic computer and parts inventory system skills
• Aptitude to investigate and problem-solve various mechanical issues

• Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems
• Depending on location, employee may be required to operate equipment and may be required to be equipment certified
• Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined
