Job summary

Floridays Orlando Resort is seeking an Evening Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role requires 2-3 years of hotel or resort maintenance/engineering experience, with strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, boilers and mechanical systems.

You will perform preventative maintenance, handle work orders, and assist with grounds, all while upholding a high standard of appearance and service.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years minimum hotel/resort maintenance/engineering experience.
• Skilled in systems maintenance and repair.
• Skilled in the proper and safe use of tools, equipment, materials and chemicals related to the department.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, boilers, mechanical systems and their repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP) in units upon request to keep them in satisfactory condition.
• Maintain the property to look professional and free from deficiencies (painting, fixtures, floor coverings, grounds, vehicles).
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Respond to and resolve maintenance requests.
• Assist with maintaining the grounds.
• Must be a team player.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of general apartment/condo maintenance.
• To perform the “Preventative Maintenance Program” (PMP) in any unit requested to ensure that all units are in satisfactory condition.
• Maintain the property to always look professional and free from any deficiencies including but not limited to painting, light fixtures and bulb replacement, floor and seating coverings, physical appearance of all assets kept crisp and up-to-date and all grounds and vehicles.
• Complete work orders.
• Respond and resolve maintenance requests
• Assist with maintaining the grounds.
• Must be a team player

Job Requirements:

• Previous hotel/resort Maintenance/Engineering experience (2-3 years minimum)
• Skilled in systems maintenance and repair.
• Skilled in the proper and safe use of all tools, equipment, materials, chemicals and products related to the department.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, boilers, mechanical systems and the repair and maintenance of all mentioned.
• The ability to stand, squat, reach walk and lift for periods at a time
• $17.50 - $19.50 p/hr
