Job summary

Parkview Flats in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician who values safety and resident comfort. You will diagnose and service electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, water systems, lighting, doors, gates, and more to keep the property in excellent condition.

Responsibilities include assisting with appliance moves, maintaining common areas, and supporting on-call rotations on weekends.

Qualifications

• Maintenance technician role for property management; requires safety-minded approach.
• Experience in electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, water systems, lighting, doors, gates, and related components.
• Assist with moving appliances and keep common areas clean.
• Take on-call weekend rotations and respond to emergencies as needed.

If you're an enthusiastic and safety-minded Maintenance Technician who enjoys taking great care of residents and the community, we would love for you to apply for our position at Parkview Flats in Murfreesboro, TN.

A day in the life of our Maintenance Technician might include diagnosing and maintaining/fixing any of the following (in addition to helping with moving appliances and keeping the property clean):

• Electrical and plumbing (including water lines).
• A/C and heating systems.
• Appliances (when applicable).
• Water irrigation systems.
• Stairs, gates, fences, patios, and railings.
• Tile, carpet, flooring.
• Interior/exterior lights.
• Fireplaces, ceiling fans.
• Gas fixtures and appliances (where applicable).
• Shutters, doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors.
• Boiler, gas, and/or electric.
• Door locks, P.O. boxes, and locks.
• Security systems (where applicable).
• Ceiling leaks.
• Pool areas, tile, pool furniture.

Must have a Truck or Reliable transportation. Must Be able to take rotation weekend calls/and take on-call emergencies.Must have a valid driver's license and be able to provide proof of auto insurance coverage.

HVAC, EPA, CPO certification and/or experience preferred.
