Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Indiana to perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery, assist with repairs, and support uptime and safety initiatives.

You will document issues, maintain records, and collaborate with production to minimize downtime while following established procedures. A high school diploma and 2+ years in maintenance are required, with basic mechanical/electrical knowledge and tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for minor mechanical or electrical issues.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain supplies and spare parts inventory to ensure availability for repair tasks.
• Assist with facility maintenance, including basic repairs, cleaning, and upkeep of the building.
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance processes.
• Collaborate with the production team to minimize disruption during maintenance activities and ensure timely resolution of issues.
