A Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that a facility remains safe, functional, and well-maintained by performing routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on equipment, systems, and buildings. This role includes troubleshooting issues with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems, responding promptly to maintenance requests, and completing work orders efficiently. Maintenance Technicians also help maintain compliance with safety regulations, keep accurate records of repairs, and support overall operations by minimizing downtime and ensuring a comfortable environment for residents, staff, or customers. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
