River Oaks Hospital in Louisiana is seeking a Maintenance Tech to handle day-to-day maintenance, safety, and repairs across the facility. You will perform regular preventive maintenance, assist with renovations, and participate in on-call coverage as needed.
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with maintenance experience in institutional settings. The role requires teamwork, clear communication, and adherence to safety protocols, including fire safety duties.

Situated on a 14-acre campus, services are available at all levels of care (inpatient, day or partial hospitalization, outpatient, and intensive outpatient).
River Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented MAINTENANCE TECH - Responsible for day-to-day maintenance related activities including, but not limited to: maintaining the facility in a safe condition, performing general repairs and renovation activities. Participates in facility trash handling and assists with maintaining cleanliness of facility. Checks for work orders several times a day. Assembles tools and equipment needed for jobs and completes work assignments. Performs assigned preventative maintenance on equipment monthly. Time sensitive preventative maintenance (PM) to be completed on date of assignment. Willingly rotates on-call schedule for after hour emergencies. Participates in fire drills or an event as a member off the hospital fire brigade. Performs additional tasks as requested. Keeps Director informed of the status of projects, especially those in questionable condition for safety hazards, pending projects, etc. Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient and employee related information. Takes necessary precautions for self and others when using power equipment and chemicals (i.e. safety glasses, gloves, etc.).
