Job summary

Hammonton Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Hammonton, NJ is actively seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our skilled nursing facility on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance, with on-site responses to staff and resident requests. Weekend on-call rotation is required and OSHA-compliant safety standards are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong work ethic and initiative for quality service.
• Rotating off-hour/weekend on-call availability required.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Extensive experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Ability to multitask and stay focused under pressure.
• Evidence of basic leadership and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with regular facility and equipment inspections for safety and upkeep.
• Maintain HVAC system, plumbing, electrical installations and repairs.
• Respond to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
• Repair vacated rooms promptly and efficiently.
• Be available for emergency troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functioning at all times.
• Ensure work complies with State/Federal and OSHA standards.

Maintenance Technician

Hammonton Center For Rehabilitation & Healthcare is activelyseeking a Maintenance Technician to work full-time for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Hammonton, NJ.

Working some weekend on a rotation is a must

Duties Include:

• Assist with regular facility & equipmentinspections for safety, upkeep, appearance.
• Assist with maintenance of HVAC system, plumbing electricalinstallation/repairs
• Responding to maintenance requests by Staff & Residents.
• Repairing and maintaining vacated rooms in a timely manner.
• Be available for emergency troubleshooting & repairs of equipment.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
• Ensure all work is done in accordance with State/Federal & OSHA standards.

Requirements Include:

• Min. high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong work ethic, intense drive, initiative for quality service.
• Rotating off-hour/weekend on-call availability and schedule flexibility is a must.
• Solid computer skills; working knowledge of MS Office.
• Extensiveexperience inHVAC, plumbing, electric, carpentry & general maintenance.
• Ability to multi-task / stay on task & maintain focus in stressful situations.
• Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision.
