Job summary

Hammonton Center For Rehabilitation & Healthcare in Hammonton, NJ seeks a Maintenance Technician for a full-time role at our skilled nursing facility. Weekend on-call rotation is required, and healthcare experience is preferred. We offer a great working environment and an excellent compensation package.

Responsibilities include HVAC/plumbing/electrical maintenance, responding to requests from staff and residents, and ensuring all equipment is safe, clean, and OSHA-compliant.

Qualifications

• Min. high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general maintenance.
• Rotating off-hour/weekend on-call availability and schedule flexibility.
• Strong work ethic and drive for quality service.
• Basic leadership and supervisory experience.
• Solid computer skills; working knowledge of MS Office.

• Assist with maintenance of HVAC system, plumbing electrical installation/repairs.
• Respond to maintenance requests by Staff & Residents.
• Repair and maintain vacated rooms in a timely manner.
• Be available for emergency troubleshooting & repairs of equipment.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
• Ensure all work is done in accordance with State/Federal & OSHA standards.
