Job summary

Ridgewood at Greenbrier in Greenbrier, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician who cares for residents and the community with enthusiasm and a safety-minded approach.

You will diagnose and maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, lighting, doors/windows, and related systems, and assist with moving appliances and keeping common areas clean. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; weekend on-call rotation may apply. EPA and CPO certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems knowledge.
• Ability to service appliances and fixtures.
• Familiarity with carpentry/doors and windows.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and plumbing systems as needed.
• Service A/C and heating equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain/repair appliances when applicable and assist with moving appliances.

A day in the life of our Maintenance Technician might include diagnosing and maintaining/fixing any of the following (in addition to helping with moving appliances and keeping the property clean):

Electrical and plumbing (including water lines). A/C and heating systems. Appliances (when applicable). Water irrigation systems. Stairs, gates, fences, patios, and railings. Tile, carpet, flooring. Interior/exterior lights. Fireplaces, ceiling fans. Gas fixtures and appliances (where applicable). Shutters, doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors. Boiler, gas, and/or electric. Door locks, P.O. boxes, and locks. Security systems (where applicable). Ceiling leaks. Pool areas, tile, pool furniture.

Must have a Truck or Reliable transportation. Must Be able to take rotation weekend calls/and take on-call emergencies.

HVAC, EPA, CPO certification and/or experience preferred.
