Job summary

BrioHR Pte Ltd in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Cook Valley Estates EVS Department. This is a part-time role, 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8am–12pm.

You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment, conduct safety checks, service HVAC, and provide occasional housekeeping support as needed. Applicants must be 18+, have prior maintenance experience, and hold a valid Michigan driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior maintenance technician experience.
• Must possess a valid unrestricted state of Michigan driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical as directed.
• Conduct routine safety checks of door locks, water temperatures, etc., as directed.
• Service heating and cooling units/systems per manufacturer and policy.
• Clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, and surfaces in resident homes and common areas.
• Perform occasional grounds maintenance such as snow removal and sweeping as directed.
• Provide backup support for housekeeping when needed.
• Clean and sanitize vacant homes/apartments as assigned.
• Set up and take down tables, chairs, and equipment for events.

What You'll Do:

The Maintenance Technician will assist in maintaining the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Join our senior living community where every day you make a difference!

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform routine safety checks of door lock systems, water temperatures, etc. as directed and in accordance with established procedures.
• Service heating and cooling units/systems, as specified by the manufacturer, and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in resident homes, clubhouse/common areas, offices etc.
• Perform occasional maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., by cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping, removing snow and salting, etc., as necessary/directed.
• Clean floors, to include sweeping, dust mopping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing disinfecting, etc.
• Provide occasional backup support for housekeeping.
• Clean and sanitize vacant homes/apartments as assigned.
• Set up and take down tables, chairs, equipment for indoor or outdoor functions as directed.
