Job summary

The Grand Healthcare System is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Tech to join our facilities team. The role requires general maintenance knowledge with hands-on plumbing, electrical and mechanical experience, and a strong work ethic.

You will be part of a team focused on keeping our care center in excellent condition and ready to serve residents. We offer a full-time schedule with rotating weekends, competitive pay, and benefits.

Qualifications

• General maintenance knowledge including plumbing and electrical systems.
• Must be able to lift 50–100 lbs.
• Willingness to respond to emergency maintenance calls.
• Must be available to work one weekend per month.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow directions.
• Comply with Department of Health requirements.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance tasks across the facility, including painting resident rooms.
• Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs as needed.
• Move materials and equipment between rooms and areas.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues when required.
• Work under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical equipment as needed.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Tech to join our team! If you have general maintenance knowledge, including mechanical, electrical and plumbing experience, and a strong work ethic, we would love to hear from you.

Strong Mechanical Experience Is Required For This Role.

Pay Rate: $26.79 per hour

Schedule: Full-time with rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities

• General Maintenance Tasks: Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the facility, including painting resident rooms and other areas.
• Plumbing & Electrical: Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Material Movement: Move materials and equipment between rooms and different areas of the facility as necessary.
• Emergency Response: Be available to respond to emergency maintenance issues as needed.
• Supervision: Work under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Hands-on mechanical experience, including troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience: General maintenance knowledge, including experience with plumbing and electrical systems.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move at least 50 to 100 lbs.
• Work Schedule: Must be available to work one weekend per month.
• Team Player: Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Regulatory Compliance: Must meet the requirements of the Department of Health.
• Emergency Response: Willingness to respond to emergency calls as required.
