Job summary

Openwork in Denton, TX is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on equipment and machinery.

You will read blueprints and manuals, maintain electrical systems (lighting, controls, motors), and repair engines, conveyors and production line equipment using hand and power tools. Heavy lifting up to 80 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in machinery maintenance.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Experience with 480V 3-phase/machine controls.
• Proficient with blueprints, diagrams, manuals.

Responsibilities

About the Job

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find an experienced Maintenance Technician in Denton TX. In this skilled role, you will be responsible for performing electrical troubleshooting and repairs on equipment/machinery.

In a Maintenance Technician role you'll be responsible for:

• Maintain electrical systems for a variety of purposes including lighting, climate control, security, A.C and D.C motors, controls, PLC and distribution panels
• Completing appropriate maintenance records, transferring knowledge of conditions to incoming mechanics at shift change, and informing the supervisor of significant problems
• Reads blueprints, diagrams and machinery manuals
• Repair engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments

What you'll need:

• Minimum 4-years' experience in the field of machinery maintenance is required.
• Ability to handle physical requirements, including but not limited to, kneeling, repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting of up to 80 lbs.
• Electrical training/experience with 480 3 phases/machine controls
• Computer skills
