Job summary

Oneida Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare, Utica, NY, is seeking a Maintenance Tech for a temporary role. You will assist with facility and equipment inspections, service HVAC systems, plumbing and electrical repairs, and respond to repair requests from staff and residents.

Responsibilities include maintaining vacated rooms, handling emergency troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Min. high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong work ethic and initiative for quality service.
• Rotating off-hour/weekend on-call availability and schedule flexibility.
• Solid computer skills; working knowledge of MS Office.
• Extensive experience in HVAC, plumbing, electric, carpentry & general maintenance.
• Ability to multi-task and stay focused in stressful situations.
• Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision.
