Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Maintenance Tech in Chesterfield, MI, offering $34–$40 per hour based on experience. The role includes disassembly, repair, and reassembly of machinery, troubleshooting from electrical/hydraulic schematics, and maintaining maintenance records.

• Approx. three to five years of job related experience is necessary to learn maintenance procedures and equipment operations.
• Analytical skills necessary to evaluate machine/equipment functions.
• Obtain a Hilo license within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles machinery and equipment utilizing manual and power tools, and general tool room equipment such as lathes, mills, grinder, etc.
• Troubleshoots problems from reading electrical and hydraulic schematics; uses electrical testing equipment.
• Maintains departmental files of work orders, maintenance requisitions, preventive maintenance histories, and other related records.
• Performs a variety of building, machinery, and equipment repairs, installation, or modification requiring hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and electrical skills.

What will you be doing?

• Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles machinery and equipment utilizing manual and power tools, and general tool room equipment such as: lathes, mills, grinder, etc. In doing so climbs, kneels, stands, sits, or crouches while handling items of various sizes, shapes, and weights

• Troubleshoots problems from reading electrical and hydraulic schematics; uses electrical testing equipment.

• Maintains departmental files of work orders, maintenance requisitions, preventative maintenance histories, and other related records.

• Performs a variety of building, machinery, and equipment repairs, installation, or modification requiring hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and electrical skills.
