Job summary

Circle K is seeking a maintenance technician to keep store equipment in good working order, perform preventive maintenance, and learn fuel and POS operations through in-house instruction.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 3-5 years in maintenance or construction, and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs. A valid driver’s license and insurability as a driver are also needed.

• Troubleshoot, repair, clean and maintain equipment; perform preventive maintenance.
• Facilitate repairs as required.

• Test new equipment as directed.
• Document actions, communicate irregularities and needs; some computer use.
• Participate in training for equipment.
• Contribute to team effort by achieving related results.

Job Summary

Maintains store operations by performing Electrical, Plumbing and General Maintenance. Performs preventive maintenance while learning Food and Drink Equipment. Position also has the ability to learn Fuel and POS operations from in house instruction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and a 3-5 years’ experience in the maintenance or construction field.
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, use power and hand tools, required crouching and/or crawling, and use a ladder.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Experience in telecommunications is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple changing priorities and work independently in a high‑priority, confidential, demanding business environment.
• Valid driver’s license and must be insurable as a driver.

Key Responsibilities

Note: Not all of the below described responsibilities will be required.

• Maintains equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and maintaining related equipment; provides preventive maintenance.
• Facilitates repairs as required.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Test new equipment as directed.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs. Has some computer knowledge to email and use forms related to Circle K.
• Will be required to participate in training for existing and new equipment.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
