Maintenance Tech (General Maintenance Technician I), Salary: $36,608 - $44,845 per year, USCA Facilities Administration
Under direct supervision of Maintenance Supervisor, performs trades related duties to accomplish facilities/equipment preventive maintenance, installations, construction and renovation tasks. May work in a crew or independently.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience Requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and no prior work experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience. Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications High school graduate or GED w/3 years experience in the Trades Worker field. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Considerable knowledge of tools, equipment & materials used in general building maintenance & construction trades applicable to the job. Considerable knowledge of the techniques, methods & practices of the designated trades areas.
