Job summary

LDG Development is seeking a Maintenance Team Member in Dallas, TX. The role reports to the Maintenance Team Leader and offers an hourly wage with benefits and bonus eligibility.

You will maintain both the facility and grounds, respond to work orders, and help ensure high standards of upkeep and safety across the community. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of maintenance experience, strong customer service, and knowledge of pool maintenance.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail required.
  • Working knowledge of pool service and maintenance.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Able to lift at least 75 lbs and stand for 8–12 hours.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the facility and grounds per community objectives.
  • Follow health, safety, OSHA programs and maintenance procedures.
  • Respond to work orders promptly, including after-hours on-call.Participates in on-call rotation.
  • Inspect public areas and resident apartments to ensure standards.
  • Follow records for air conditioning and refrigerant handling.
  • Follow pool/spa health procedures and water chemistry standards.
  • Keep storage areas, tools, and equipment secure.
  • Participate in Solidago training as required.

POSITION: Maintenance Team Member

REPORTS TO :Maintenance Team Leader

COMPENSATION: Hourly Rate, plus Benefits and Bonus eligibility

LOCATION: Terrace at Highland Hills - 5761 Highland Hills Drive in Dallas, Texas

SUMMARY

The Maintenance Team Member is primarily responsible for protecting, maintaining, and enhancing the value of the community while also maximizing the living experience for residents and the community. This is accomplished by ensuring that all resident maintenance issues are resolved expertly and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to)
  • Maintains the facility and grounds based on community objectives.
  • Followpractices for the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of all facility equipment, including compliance with health, safety, and OSHA programs, policies, procedures, and reports.
  • Responds to work orders promptly, including after-hours on-call maintenance requests. Participates in the on-call rotation with the rest of the Maintenance Team.
  • Assists with the inspection of public areas and resident apartments to ensure proper maintenance and standards are achieved and sustained.
  • Follow Solidago, city, state, federal, and EPA air conditioning and refrigeration record-keeping requirements and procedures, are met as to the maintenance, service, repair, and disposal of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and refrigerant.
  • Follow health department, city, state, and federal procedures, practices, and record-keeping requirements applicable to pools and spas are followed to maintain proper water chemistry and sanitation.
  • Keep storage areas, tools, and equipment secure at all times.
  • Participates in Solidago training as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3-5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and basic maintenance skills.
  • Working knowledge of pool service and maintenance isrequired.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. and work 8-12 hour standing shifts.
  • Must be able to work weekends and be available for on-call emergencies.
  • Ability to embody the Solidago Standards

WORK ENVIRONMENT

You are required to work both inside and outside of the office and in all areas of the residential property, including amenities, and have frequent exposure to outside elements where temperature, weather, odors, and landscape may be unpleasant and/or hazardous.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

To successfully perform the essential functions of this role, the team member must be able to engage in routine physical activities such as standing, walking, climbing, stooping, squatting, and using hands for typing and handling materials. The position requires the ability to access all areas of the property—both interior and exterior—in varying weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and wind.

Team members must be capable of lifting or moving items up to 20 pounds and possess adequate visual abilities, including close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel may be required for training, property support, or other job-related needs.
