The Maintenance Team Leader will protect and enhance the property's value while improving residents’ living experience, solving maintenance issues efficiently and professionally on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain curb appeal by keeping grounds and buildings clean and well-maintained.
• Assist with basic repairs and general maintenance tasks.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and teamwork.
• Keep clubhouse, offices, model units, hallways, and common areas safe and tidy.
• Ensure property is free of trash, debris, and animal waste.
• Maintain landscaping, including watering flowers and general upkeep.
• Prepare apartments for new move-ins and ensure appearance is top quality.
• Report issues to supervisor and coordinate with Community Manager.

POSITION: Maintenance Team Leader (Part-Time, Non-Exempt)
COMPENSATION:

Pursuant to CA regulations, if this job is performed in CA, the salary range is $25 - $27 plus bonus potential.

SUMMARY

The Maintenance Team Leader is primarily responsible for protecting, maintaining, and enhancing the value of the community while also maximizing the living experience for residents and the community. This is accomplished by ensuring that all resident maintenance issues are resolved expertly and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES(Including but not limited to):

• Ensure that the property maintains an exceptional curb appeal by keeping the community grounds and buildings clean and properly maintained.
• Assist with basic repairs and other general maintenance duties.
• Consistently and genuinely demonstrate exemplary principles of customer service and teamwork.
• Maintain a safe, tidy and sanitary clubhouse, office, model, hallways and all other common areas.
• Ensure that the property is free of trash, debris and animal waste.
• Ensure that the grass and landscaping are well maintained, including the watering of flowers.
• Ensuring the best possible appearance of each apartment prior to new resident move-in.
• Advise supervisor of items needing additional attention in the apartment; i.e. ripped carpet, torn linoleum, window or door repair, etc.
• Provide assistance with apartment turnovers as directed.
