Job summary

Simmons Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and develop a technical maintenance team responsible for equipment repair and preventative maintenance. You will drive improvements to reduce downtime, enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), and support capital projects with Engineering & Technical Services.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of related leadership experience, strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, and are proficient in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years related work experience including leading role.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, safety and preventive maintenance programs.
• Experience in food processing preferred.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Willingness to travel between facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily maintenance operations for assigned areas.
• Directs activities of employees to perform equipment repair and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Directs or performs layout work for projects and consults with engineers and vendors.
• Works to improve production line reliability and reduce downtime.
• Collaborates with Engineering & Technical Services on capital projects.
• Ensures health, safety, and environmental regulatory compliance.
• Manages employees and development within the maintenance team.
