Job summary

Post Consumer Brands, a unit of Post Holdings, Inc., seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for the Meadville, PA facility to lead uptime-focused maintenance in a heavily automated plant, while ensuring safety and quality. You will develop the team, coordinate plans, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial maintenance, 2+ years in supervision, and strong troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and PLC skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance at an industrial manufacturing facility (Required)
• Minimum of 2 years in a maintenance supervisory role (Strongly preferred)
• Training from a technical school/apprenticeship program in mechanical and/or electrical. (Preferred)
• Strong Troubleshooting and problem-solving experience
• Ability to plan, prioritize and schedule work with a focus on uptime and returning equipment to “Like New” condition
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and PLC’s
• Experience in a heavily automated facility
• Ability to read and understand engineering blueprints is a must

Location Description

The Meadville, Pennsylvania facility is 135,000 square feet and home to about 290 hard working team members who are proud to produce iconic pet food brands like Rachael Ray® Nutrish. Located along the banks of French Creek in Northwestern Pennsylvania and 45 minutes from Pittsburgh, Meadville is home to more than 13,000 full time residents and 2,000 Allegheny College students. Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ensures a safe work environment for team by demonstrating and enforcing safe behavior.
• Ensures Food Safety & Quality program is adhered to.

• All Staff shall be informed of their responsibility to report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
• Provide tools and environment to ensure food safety.

• Meet all quality measures on product being produced.

• Build and execute effective daily plans to achieve finished goods schedule.

• Participate in pre-shift meetings, leading assigned portion. Implement mid shift corrections.

• Communicate effectively with necessary resources offsite.

• Build and leverage team to achieve goals.
