Job summary

McDonald's Schaumburg is hiring a Maintenance Person to help keep the restaurant spotless and ensure equipment is in good working order. The role supports the team to make a great first impression for every guest. Pay is $18.00-$19.00 per hour, depending on experience, skill level and availability.

This on-site position offers steady hours and a hands-on role in everyday restaurant maintenance. Applicants should be able to perform diverse tasks, from grounds upkeep to cleaning and basic repairs,

• Supports management in daily restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outside grounds and keep restaurants looking amazing.
• Clean equipment, windows, stock rooms, and restrooms.
• Unload delivery truck twice a week and rotate stock.
• Take out trash and recycling.
• Change light bulbs.
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof debris.

Maintenance Pay rates: $18.00 - $19/hour

Requirements:

• The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will depend on you to make our customers first impression a great one! Our Arches will shine brightly because of you.

• You will also play a vital role in supporting the restaurant team in a variety of responsibilities - it is one of the most important roles in a restaurant.

The Maintenance Person’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining outside grounds - making our restaurants look amazing
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week, keep everything rotated properly
• Take out and empty trash and recycling
• Change light bulbs
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris
