Job summary

Westlake Chemical seeks a Maintenance Systems Specialist to oversee maintenance systems and data across facilities in Lake Charles. You will drive system development, data management, and continuous improvement to reduce costs and boost reliability.

The role requires strong knowledge of CMMS/EAM, SAP, and KPI reporting, with collaboration across cross-functional teams. 5+ years in maintenance or engineering, plus a TWIC and eligibility for site access, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of operational and/or maintenance experience or engineering degree/diploma.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance, planning and scheduling requirements and KPI management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience.
• Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS/EAM).
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement maintenance systems and procedures to optimize maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements and align with goals.
• Conduct research to identify emerging technologies and best practices in maintenance management.
• Ensure site alignment with corporate changes to systems and upgrades.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive maintenance data database including equipment history and costs.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting and cost reporting; analyze data and produce KPI reports.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and standardize Work Management processes across sites.
• Provide training and guidance on maintenance systems, tools, and documentation.
