Job summary

Alloy Precision Technologies seeks aMaintenance Technician to support our Mentor, OH facility with a broad range of plant and production equipment maintenance. You will perform routine repairs, troubleshoot root causes, and help ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the shop floor.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs using hand and power tools to maximize reliability.
• Coordinate maintenance programs, projects, and activities to support daily operations.
• Monitor equipment condition and reliability to support overall operations effectiveness.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and proper use of PPE on the shop floor.
• Assist with production activities and support company business duties as required.

Work involves supporting Alloy Precision Technologies (APT) facility both inside and out, facility-related equipment systems, production equipment, and general support of projects utilizing available resources. All duties will be performed to meet or exceed Customer, AS9100, and regulatory requirements.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct self at all times to APT policies and procedures under the current revision.Coordinate through the Director of Manufacturing Services & the Lead Maintenance Technician maintenance programs, projects, and general activities required to support daily APT operations.Perform routine maintenance and repairs using hand and power tools to maximize reliability.Recommend purchase of supplies needed to perform maintenance duties.Perform all duties in a safe and technically sound manner. Should be an example to others.Perform diagnostic & troubleshooting procedures to find and identify root causes of mechanical issues.Demonstrate respectful and effective communication with all personnel.Monitor general operation and condition of equipment for overall APT operations effectiveness.Actively participate and be effective in production activities when required.Drive the company van or support other authorized APT business activities as required.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Completion of HS and a solid background/ experience in fundamental broad-based maintenance skills.Additionally, training or certification of specific skills a plus, such as PLCs, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Welding, etc. known to be fundamental in day-to-day AB operations a plus.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to move throughout the shop floor.Must be able to stand for an extended period of timePERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:While on the shop floor, must wear safety glasses at all times.
