The Andersons, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at an agricultural oils and transloading facility.

You will lead the team through equipment installations, overhauls, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs while driving continuous improvement and safety standards. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of relevant experience, a strong hands-on leadership background, and the ability to mentor others in a fast-paced, safety‑driven

  • Perform and ensure regular preventive maintenance, maintain computerized PM system.
  • Maintain knowledge of safety policies and lead by example.

Position Overview

This Maintenance Supervisor leadership role is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations within an agricultural oils and transloading facility, ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and a safe working environment. The position provides hands‑on leadership for equipment installations, overhauls, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs while guiding maintenance team activities and project execution. Responsibilities include diagnosing complex equipment issues, driving continuous improvement initiatives, interpreting technical documentation, and maintaining computerized preventive maintenance programs. The role plays a critical part in supporting production goals through predictive maintenance practices, equipment uptime, and a strong commitment to safety excellence. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced maintenance leader who enjoys mentoring others, solving complex mechanical and electrical challenges, and making a direct impact on facility performance in a fast‑paced agricultural operations environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands‑on leadership of installations and overhauls of equipment, and in routine and emergency maintenance and repairs.
  • Diagnose complex maintenance issues with a focus on continuous improvement, providing input and recommendations.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints and work orders to lead team in appropriate actions regarding maintenance and service.
  • Perform and ensure that regular preventive maintenance is complete and on‑schedule, ensure that computerized preventative maintenance system is maintained according to standards.
  • Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of all safety policies and standards and act in a lead role to exemplify.
  • Work in a safe manner and recognizes unsafe situations, takes appropriate action to ensure safety of themselves and others in building.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Associate's Degree preferred.
