Job summary

CYM Living in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to support property operations with a hands-on, resident‑focused approach. You will evaluate and address maintenance needs to keep units safe, functional, and comfortable.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, painting, janitorial tasks, grounds care, and snow removal; you’ll also coordinate with vendors and maintain paperwork, with on‑call coverage after hours.

Qualifications

• Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, locks & keys, basic carpentry, painting and drywall repair, and grounds maintenance.
• On-call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication, initiative, and excellent customer service skills.
• Experience in facilities maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and respond to a broad range of maintenance needs to ensure efficient property operation.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair tasks.
• Maintain locks, keys, carpentry, painting, drywall repair, janitorial duties, grounds, and snow removal.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors and document work orders.
• Provide timely remediation of maintenance issues.

• Skilled in routine apartment maintenance, as well as handling administrative tasks and paperwork related to vendors/contractors;
• Ability to respond and remedy maintenance issues in a timely manner.
