Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college preferred.
• Two years of manufacturing operations experience.
• Must be willing to work extended hours, weekends, or other shifts.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and a good performance/attendance record.
• Must be physically and mentally capable of handling exerting and/or stressful situations.
• Must be able to conduct and participate in meetings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all employees understand and abide by safety rules, regulations, and policies.
• Maintain safe and sanitary working conditions in the facility per Company standards and laws.
• Investigate accidents and near misses and take action to eliminate root causes.
• Direct maintenance to achieve uninterrupted facility operation; supervise maintenance labor.
• Verify Maintenance Work Order Forms are completed and routed properly.
• Distribute maintenance workforce to optimize hours and areas of responsibility.
• Coordinate maintenance with Facilities Engineering and Plant Production management.
• Oversee planned preventive maintenance programs with Facilities Engineering.
• Audit maintenance performance to ensure high quality and productive work.
• Provide tools, manuals, and procedures for efficient maintenance use.
• Publish monthly maintenance activity and expenditure reports; prepare annual budget.
